We are pleased to share that Lucia has been awarded a Rosetrees Seedcorn Award as Project Lead for “Micropeptide-based modulation of signalling in triple-negative breast cancer”.
The project will be developed in collaboration with Mr Francesco Tammaro and Prof Paolo Grieco at the University of Naples, Prof Wafa Al-Jamal at Queen’s University Belfast and Dr Maria Lombardi at the Italian Institute of Technology.
This work will explore how micropeptides and selected peptide fragments can be used to study and modulate intracellular signalling in a disease-relevant context.
