Lucia is leading the organisation of a new EDI event series at QUB: “Voice of Inclusion”. This five-part series, supported by the Royal Society of Chemistry, is dedicated to breaking down barriers in the chemical sciences. The initiative originates from the School of Biological Sciences, in collaboration with the School of Chemistry and Chemical Engineering, School of Pharmacy, PRISM Queen’s University Belfast LGBTQIA+ Staff Network and Students’ Union.
The series kicked off on 1 October with Jo McParland (She/Her) (Cara -Friend), who addressed misconceptions and provided guidance on gender diversity and inclusive language.
