Lucia has been elected Director of the Association of Italian Scientists in the UK (AISUK). In this leadership role, Lucia will oversee and coordinate the association’s regional branches, strengthening connections among Italian researchers throughout the UK.
AISUK brings together Italian scientists working across three main domains: Physical Sciences and Engineering, Social Sciences and Humanities, and Life Sciences. The association is dedicated to fostering scientific collaboration between Italian and British academic institutions and research centres in both the public and private sectors. AISUK also works to raise awareness—both in Italy and internationally—of the significant contributions made by Italian researchers in the UK, while supporting the mobility of scholars between the two countries.
